ABOUT THE JOURNEY

A Most Significant Journey has won four major awards in prestigious national and international film and video competitions.

In April 2000, Journey was presented a Gold Award in the Public Relations category at Worldfest -- The Houston International Film Festival.

The groundbreaking production also took home a Gold Award in the public relations category at the 2000 Aurora Film and Video competition in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In 2001, A Most Significant Journey won a Silver Telly Award in the Non-Broadcast Film/Video Productions category. The Silver is the highest award given in the competition, which was established in 1980.

The Telly has become one of the most sought-after awards in the TV, commercial and video industry. The Telly statuette has appeared on the sets of many prime-time TV shows, including thirtysomething; Murder, She Wrote; Newhart; News Radio; and most recently in the movie What Women Want. In the past 21 years, winners and finalists have come from a large cross-section of agencies, production companies, television stations, and cable operations, as well as corporate video departments. All 50 states have been represented by past winners and finalists.

In April 2001, The American Corporate Video Awards competition gave A Most Significant Journey its Gold Award. Founded in 1989, the American Corporate Video Awards is an independent awards program formed to recognize overall excellence in corporate video communications. Baylor and the University of Washington were the only winners from the field of higher education.
